We all know celebs supposedly love insuring their body parts, Kylie and J-Lo apparently protected their bums, David Beckham insured his legs and Dolly Parton infamously put wads of cash down to protect her double D Dollys.

Now Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy, has revealed to the BBC that he had to grow a “contractually obligated” beard for the new Star Wars films.

Why? Well, we’re pretty sure there’s a law that every old dude in the Star Wars universe needs to have a beard, apart from Yoda and Samuel L. Jackson. OKAY, maybe not every old man.

It seems ‘hair contracts’ aren’t all that rare, as keen follicle fans might remember that Game of Thrones’ long-haired know-nothing Jon Snow is contractually obliged to not cut his long barnet.

We wish we could get a beard contract, sadly, it seems you have to actually have the ability to conjure facial fluff to command such a contract. Dagnabbit.
