Well Disney’s brand new live-action remake of Cinderella looks awesome – just LOOK how amazing Cate Blanchett is as the wicked stepmother.

A new clip from the film has been released today showing Cate talking about her role and why she was “so excited” to be taking it on.

“[The stepmother] is not as young, not as beautiful, not as kind or as good as Cinderella, which is why she becomes her nemesis,” Cate says in the footage.

“As a friend of mine said, at a dinner party I’d much rather be sitting next to Lady Tremaine than Cinderella,” she adds.
