The new series of The Osbournes is SCRAPPED – but why?

A new series of The Osbournes has been binned after TV bosses complained it wasn’t coming together, it’s been revealed.

The planned catch-up season of the first ever reality show was scrapped after one TV executive said they were “no longer talking” to Sharon, Ozzy, Jack and Kelly Osbourne about the show.

Susan Levison, a higher-up at VH1, told the Hollywood Reporter that the revival will not be going ahead.

“We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that’s not going to happen,” she said.

“We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn’t come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We’d love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future.”

Hmm. Curious, no? Especially as Sharon Osbourne had announced the new series with such trumpeting back in October last year, on Loose Women.

There’ve also been reports that Jack has taken several companies he part owns to court over claims they were demanding payment for the new episodes, which were due to air this year.

According to Digital Spy, Jack said in legal documents that two of his business partners paid themselves large salaries and took business opportunities for themselves instead of their shared company.

Meanwhile, Kelly has taken to Twitter to deny any involvement in VH1 whatsoever.

How odd.
