One Direction are back in the studio recording fifth album

Great news One Direction fans! Forget the rumours about the fellas – Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – heading thire separate ways, because it looks like 1D are in fact back in the studio recording their fifth album!

A source told The Sun: “There has been a bit of a question about the timing of the fifth album but there was never any doubt it would be released, despite the ridiculous speculation.

"Initially the guys thought they might want more time away from the studio because they’ve been busy promoting Four.

“But they’ve been itching to get back recording again because it’s what they love to do, so it’s full steam ahead.”

The boys have been working with regular collaborators Wayne Hector and Julian Bunetta.

Wayne told The Sun: “I’m finishing off some songs with Sigma then I’m going to start writing for the new One Direction album.

“I’m really looking forward to it — they’re always great to work with.”

The band are also likely to work individually or in pairs with other writers and producers.

The source added: “It’s a formula that’s worked before and it’s how the lads like to work.

“The reality is that after nearly five years together they are very much in control of their sound and the process.”

One last question, guys… WHEN CAN WE LISTEN TO THE ALBUM???????
