One Direction’s upcoming single Perfect could be Harry Styles’ attempt to hit back at Taylor Swift, according to new reports.
The Made In The AM track, which was co-written by Harry and Louis Tomlinson, contains lyrics about some mystery person wanting “someone to write break-up songs about” and is thought to sound a bit similar to Tay’s single Style.

According to the Sun, a source has said Harry would never get “too specific” about his famous ex in a song, but the lyrics will “definitely” get Directioners buzzing.
“He doesn’t want to dish the dirt but a relationship as intense as theirs has provided lots of inspiration,” the insider added.
But let’s actually examine these claims closely, shall we? First up, Harry and Taylor only dated for three months over 2012 and 2013 – a long time ago in showbiz. And they were both travelling for a lot of that time, so arguably there wasn’t much time to get to know each other that well.
Plus that lyric is… not to put too fine a point on it, but not exactly the most dazzling of original lines, is it? And if anything – ANYTHING – threatened to sound anything like one of Taylor’s songs, you can bet your sweet ass her lawyers would be all over it immediately.
Conclusion? Fun to speculate, but probs not much truth in this one.
