More and more restaurant chains are finally getting the hint that having a vegan option on the menu is pretty bloody necessary in this day and age, and Pizza Express has always been at the forefront of this.
We spend many a hangover day fantasising about their Pianta pizza / ordering three on Deliveroo, and they've now made all our dreams come true by adding a dessert to their menu.
Because, as vegans will know, staring sadly at your fellow diners tucking into their chocolate cheesecake while you sip sadly on an espresso / fifth glass of wine is no fun at all.
The dessert is called Coconut Delight, and it's a sorbet made from coconut milk and coconut shavings.
Speaking about the new dessert, Pizza Express's Head of Food (what a job title) said that there has been "a significant rise in requests from our guests for more vegan-friendly meal options – particularly from fans on our social media pages"
Yasss yaaasss yaaaaaaaaaaasss.
