Do you love pugs? And cocktails? If so, we have some news that’s going to make your day.
You can now enjoy a drink while hanging out with lots of little pugs!
Pugs and Pals are opening a new pop-up café and bar opening on Brick Lane in London. They’re trialling the idea for a few days from 26 to 29 October – and if it goes well, it will open indefinitely.
So what will this actually entail? Well, lots of ACTUAL pugs (no other four-legged creatures are allowed, just pugs – except for certain special events.)
And, according to their Facebook page, you can expect “to try puggilicious cupcakes, puggachinos, pugcktails and everything else we have in store!”
Pug cocktail sessions start at 7pm and 8pm – but if that’s not your thing, there’s lots of other pug-related stuff going on.
At 3pm each day there’s Pug High Tea, where you can enjoy lots of baked treats, and lots of tea obvs.
There’s also something called Puppy Hour at 10am on the Sunday, where you can literally just go and cuddle up with some adorable little pugs.
And, to get into the Halloween spirit, they’re hosting a Pug-loween costume party, which will involve lots of dogs dressed up in costumes.
Behind this amazing idea is Aida Martinez and her boyfriend Bartosz Kolodziejczyk, who, naturally, have their own pug called Mia.
Aida told metro.co.uk: “We’d like the cafe to become the place to go for the dog owners and lovers community, since there’s no dog café in London serving that purpose.”
AND it’s for a good cause: the café is donating some of the funds to dog shelters across London.
