We’re well into the party season now and most of December is whizzing by in a blur of bottomless bubbly and mince pies.
But while we had planned on hooking up to some form of Prosecco drip with an endless supply of the delicious goodness pouring into our veins for the duration of the Christmas period, we’ve just heard some devastating news threatening to ruin all of our party season plans.

Apparently, Sainsbury’s has warned that Brits could totally wipe out the whole Prosecco supply just before Christmas.
According to Pretty52, the supermarket giant predicts that on Saturday 23rd December aka Sparkling Saturday 489,000 bottles will be sold, drying up supplies of Prosecco for the rest of the festive period.
We recommend heading out now and stocking up early.
It would probably be a good idea to bulk buy Aldi's THREE LITRE bottle of prosecco.
The store's released a Jeroboam of Prosecco and in case you're trying to put this in context, three litres is essentially 24 glasses.
And you know what that means? A hell of a lot of basic bitch 'CHEERS' Boomerangs are comin' your way on Snapchat and/or Instagram Stories. Whichever tickles your pickle.
Oh, and if you're worried about your four-legged friends missing out on all the festive fun, you can now get dog Prosecco.
