Saturday night was a very emotional night for many – not least the heat team.
It saw thousands of people pounding the streets of 15 cities for Stand Up To Cancer’s March On Cancer; all looking to make a difference.
By getting sponsored for this night-time walk, everyone taking part marched through the streets; chanting, clapping, stomping and just generally getting Stand Up To Cancer’s voice heard.
Team heat took part in the march in memory of family and friends we’ve tragically lost, including our Deputy Editor Gavin Reeve-Daniels, who sadly lost his fight against pancreatic cancer recently.
But if you weren’t able to take part in the March On Cancer, don’t worry because that’s not the only way to get stuck in – there’s the Channel 4’s big Stand Up To Cancer show on Friday [17 October.]
