There’s a new show called Meet The Orangutans and it looks like it’s going to be a hoot!

Hip, hip, hooray for orangutans! And hip, hip, hooray for Animal Planet for bringing us Meet The Orangutans – a brand new show, which will give us an exclusive look into the daily drama of the world’s oldest orangutan sanctuary, Sepilok in Malaysia.

We’ll get a sneaky peak into the lives of Peanut, Beryl, Chiquita and Gelison, among other super-fluffy orangutans, as they learn the crucial survival skills necessary for their eventual release.

And we are most definitely looking forward to seeing what the ‘teenagers’ get up to. Whether it’s weigh-ins, forest school or feeding time, there’s always the opportunity to pick locks, mug tourists, steal tools…or just hang around plotting the next heist!

Don’t go changing, lovely, naughty orangutans.

The eight-part series kicks off on Animal Planet (Sky 523), Thursday 12 February at 8pm.
