Shailene Woodley and Theo James star in Divergent sequel Insurgent – and it looks ruddy BRILLIANT

The Twilight series gave us moody goth vampires, The Hunger Games was all about sociopathic dictators and murderous children, and Harry Potter was mostly a bewildered magic boy getting saved from certain death by his gal-pal Hermione.

But there’s not reeeally been much else in that coming-of-age drama genre that’s tickled our tastebuds in the same way those films did – apart from Divergent.

So when these posters for its 2015 sequel Insurgent almost crashed our inbox this evening, we were pretty psyched.

Not gonna lie – a massive draw of these films is the smoking hot Theo James, but Fault In Our Stars, er, star Shailene Woodley is also pretty brilliant as the feisty Tris Prior.

Here’s a sneaky peek at the main actors – including Kate Winslet as the terrifying Jeanine, Naomi Watts as Evelyn and Octavia Spencer as Joanna – ahead of Insurgent’s release, which is scheduled for Friday 20 March this year.
