For most of us, the idea of giving a wedding speech is the stuff of nightmares. Getting up in front of all those family members and friends, and having to coherently thank everyone involved when you've already had a few tipples is enough to make anyone shudder.
But judging from this video it seems these two sisters from California were far from phased. Kelsey and Maddie Hellerman, who performed the wedding toast at their sister Caitlin’s wedding decided to put their thanks into a hilarious montage of songs, which, after being recorded and posted online, proceeded to go viral at the weekend.

And we can see why! Taking the guests through the years of the newlyweds’ relationship, the sisters adapted the words of crowd pleasing classics like Jackson 5’s I Want You Back and Everybody by the Backstreet Boys, before talking of the wedding day and thanking the rest of the wedding party gospel-style. Legends.
As if this all wasn’t impressive enough, the girls revealed that they really didn’t put much practice in at all, due to the fact that they live 300 miles apart. Maddie told BuzzFeed: “Essentially, what you see in the video is the first time we actually gave it our all. And yeah….we didn’t hold back (sorry to everyone’s eardrums). What we lack in talent we make up for in enthusiasm.”
Well, we think that enthusiasm paid off. Not only have the girls nabbed themselves worldwide web fame, with the video racking up thousands of views, but it’s clear from the footage that their sister Caitlin was loving every minute.
“I was laughing so hard and I think John was just shocked,” their bride said.
“Everything about it was amazingly perfect.”
Best men and maid of honours, take note. We’d choose this over a stumbling or slurring, drunken speech any day, even if a few of the notes were a bit off…
