We don’t mean to be dramatic, but we might just have heard one of the most exciting festive developments of the year so far.
East London bar, Skylight, have launched a neon-lit winter playground - and it’ll have the only rooftop ice skating rink in London.
Skylight London was born at the start of this summer, and people flocked to the rooftop hangout to enjoy hours of croquet, cocktails and top London DJs.
Rooftop bars have been popping up left right and centre in London lately, but this place sounds like the hideout of dreams for the winter.
At this urban après skate bar, you can go ice skating with an amazing view, before cuddling up with a mulled wine or cider in the heated lounge marquee, with a view of the city skyline.
And if this place wasn’t already absolutely incredible, you can also treat yourself to a cheese or chocolate fondue.

It’s above a Wapping warehouse on what used to be an unused car park at Tobacco Dock, Pennington Street Entrance.

From the 2nd November, its opening hours will be Thursday & Friday 5pm – 11pm, Saturday & Sunday – 12pm – 11pm
There are seasonal drinks, there’s street food and there’s an ice rink pretty much in the sky.
