Slipknot’s lead singer, Corey Taylor, is going to be in Doctor Who!

Yup, that shouty guy in the terrifying mask will be a part of one of the BBC’s biggest TV shows.

Well, Corey won’t physically be in the show, but his signature scream will be.

You can hear the musician being all loud and scary on next Saturday’s (10 October) episode, when he lends his scream to the evil Fisher King as the new villain battles Peter Capaldi's Doctor.

The monster’s speaking voice is supplied by Peter Serafinowicz, and the character is played on screen by Neil Fingleton, the tallest man in Britain, standing at 7ft 7in.

Corey, 41, shared his excitement at his involvement in the BBC One show on Twitter, writing: "You have NO idea how hard it's been to keep this awesome secret..."

Doctor Who airs on Saturday (3 October) at 8.25pm on BBC One.
