SPOILER ALERT! EastEnders’ Dean Wicks makes EXPLOSIVE return as he takes character hostage

The residents of EastEnders’ Albert Square really do have a tough life – if you’ve lost an arm, Dot Cotton is bound to have lost both of hers by the end of the next episode.

And it’s all kicking off on the soap this week with the brilliant live broadcasts as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations.

If you thought there was enough to deal with, with tonight’s big reveal of Lucy Beale’s murderer, then think again because Dean Wicks, played by Matt Di Angelo, is back and he’s planning on burning down the Queen Vic. GAH!

Last night, viewers saw the character return to the show as he hid in the shadows on the Square, but tonight he hopes to get revenge on the Carter family for reporting him to the police after he raped Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

Dean shows up at the Carters' pub clutching a lighter and a can of petrol, which he then pours all over the barrel room.

Fortunately, Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) stops Dean in his tracks, before he takes her hostage from father Mick Carter (Danny Dyer).

Mick’s plans for revenge will be unveiled in this evening's show along with the identity of Lucy Beale’s killer.

EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
