When you think of autumn, what's the first thing that springs to mind? The crunch of crisp leaves underfoot? That iconic Halloween scene from Mean Girls? The dregs of this summer's Love Islanders flogging anything under the sun on Instagram?
Nah. It's Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte, of course.
When it comes to coffee, the PSL is the absolute DON. And now - as we say goodbye to summer and the final remnants of festival glitter found in undisclosed areas - Starbucks has announced when the ultimate autumnal beverage is returning for 2019.
Mark a massive circle round September 5th in your diary, babe. IT'S BACK.
For the first time ever, this year sees even more variety in the cold PSL range including Iced Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Macchiato, Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino.
Obviously they'll all make an appearance in a carefully-constructed Instagram Story of ours at some point, too.
Basic bitch? Us? 😂
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is a combination of Starbucks Espresso Roast, pumpkin pie-flavoured sauce and steamed milk; topped with lashings of whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices.
We're talking cinnamon. We're talking nutmeg. We're talking CLOVES for crying out loud.
All you vegans out there can still enjoy a PSL from September 5th, too. There's a fancy dairy-free option available.
We're counting down the minutes, tbh 🎃.
