The singer’s album has been snapped up so fast in its first week it’s sold more than last week’s 70 biggest selling albums in the US.

1989 also smashed the record for the fastest selling album of the decade, knocking Eminem’s 2002 release, The Eminem Show, off the top spot.
And, not only this, but the 24-year-old has become the first artist to have three albums selling more than one million copies in the first week of release.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Taylor chose to remove her music from Spotify, which is believed to have boosted her sales.
The only other album which sold over a million copies in 2014 was the soundtrack to Frozen.
Someone needs to make Taylor Swift a crown. Fast.
