This beautiful Georgian-built property is located in the heart of Newmarket in Suffolk. Originally built as a hunting lodge for the Sixth Duke of Bedford in the 18th century (ooh la la), the hotel merges old and new traditions that make it both luxurious but also charming.

The Spa
The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel is perfect for a girly getaway, especially if you want to come away feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Breakfast and dinner at the award-winning Squires Restaurant offers a modern dining experience that you'll totally love. The restaurant host, Hector, keeps the restaurant running in check and to a brilliantly high standard. For dinner, we recommend picking the beef fillet steak or deliciously-juicy burger for dinner, but other popular choices include the scallops and black pudding starter and the banana macaron for dessert! Yum.
Things To Do
Obvs, we recommend spending a day at the glorious Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel, to unwind and indulge. If you fancy exploring the town of Newmarket, which is steeped in heritage and known for being the home of horse racing, then you can walk to the various racing yards and the famed Training Grounds, which are only a short distance from the hotel. 🐴
We'd also recommend heading to Britain’s smallest pub, ‘The Nutshell’ in the market town of Bury St Edmunds. Trust us: it'll look great on the 'gram.
