To ensure you don’t miss out, we got in touch with DesignMyNight for their top Halloween events and parties across the UK. Grab a costume and some fake blood, ‘cause these events are un-boo-lievable (yup, we just went there).
10 of the best Halloween events for 2017
Halloween Movie Drive-In
It's all good and well to celebrate All Hallows' Eve across the weekend, but if you want something really great to do on October 31st, we've got just the thing. There's a drive-in cinema screening Fright Night on a huge 28 foot screen in Essex, and your ticket will include a bag of popcorn for each person in the car and some pre-film drive-in karaoke. When you're done drooling over Colin Farrell on the big screen, there's additional hot dogs, nachos and all your typical cinema snacks to sink your teeth into.
Halloween Ball at The Mansion
If you wanna go the whole nine yards for Halloween this year, there's only one place for you: The Mansion. You won't be told the location of this top secret party until 48 hours beforehand, and you might want to start jogging towards your nearest fancy dress shop because wearing a costume is compulsory. There's gonna be fire shows, cage dancers, tarot readings, and two dancefloors for you to cause mayhem on.
Halloween Silent Disco along the Thames
There's a haunted two-storey boat setting sail down The Thames this Halloween weekend and it's gonna give you a witch's eye view of London's most iconic buildings; including Tower Bridge and Big Ben. As if that wasn't impressive enough, it's gonna have a silent disco on board too. You'll be flicking between three killer DJ sets until you dock back to dry land.
Halloween Party at The Roof Gardens
It might be known for its blossoming flower beds and pink flamingos, but The Roof Gardens has taken on a more sinister look for this year's Halloween festivities. Situated 100 feet above London's bustling streets, you and your pals are in for one of the deadliest nights around. You'll be treated to a complimentary cocktail on arrival (if you arrive before 8.30pm), and if you don't fancy burning your house down trying to make a round of toast when you land home, you can fill up on bites from their blazing BBQ all night long
Halloween Dining Experience
Think you've got the stomach for a supernatural dining experience? There's only one way to find out. This Halloween, Bread Street Kitchen are hosting a feast where you'll dine on everything from pig's head croquettes to braised veal shin with smashed pumpkin and black garlic sauce. But don't worry - there will be plenty of themed cocktails to help you wash everything down, alongside gin and tonic sorbets and chocolate fondant to sink your fangs into at the end.
Stranger Things party
If you're a massive fan of Stranger Things, you need to book a train ticket to Cardiff. There's a huge '80s party happening at Clwb Ifor Bach and everything is going to be inspired by the show. There's gonna be vinyl records spinning all night long and prizes for the best dressed. Lycra, shell-suits and questionable haircuts are (obviously) encouraged.
The Dark Circus Party
There's a circus rolling into town this Halloween, and it's like nothing you've ever seen before. Get ready for a whole family of caged curiosities that will either a) breath fire or b) swallow swords, and trapeze acts that will leave you sobbing into your candy floss. Like any good Hallows' Eve shindig, dressing up is compulsory, and you'll have Bourne & Hollingworth behind the bar shaking up cocktails, like the Ringmaster's Poison, all night long.
Alcotraz Halloween Special
We don't know if you've heard, but London gained a prison-themed pop-up bar this year and everybody and their grandmother have been talking about it. On October 31st they're hosting a Halloween special, and both the living and the dead have been invited to hunker down in the eerie cells. After you've thrown on a blindingly-bright orange jumpsuit, you'll be faced with sneaking a bottle of your booze past the warden of the jail. Grab your partner in crime - 'cause this ain't no one woman job.
The Beautiful and The Damned
It might be their last hurrah, but Club Noir - the world's biggest burlesque club - aren't going out without a bang. This Halloween is their last, and they're throwing The Beautiful and the Damned, which promises a mind-blowing line-up. Expect dominatrix acts, drag queen singers, an opera-esque freak show, and DJ Lovless and DJ Poprock playing vintage and modern dance music.
Meet the Widow Murder Mystery dinner
If you thought your Cluedo expertise was going to go to waste again this year, you can think again. Someone has been murdered and your help is needed to find out exactly whodunnit. Promising a Champagne cocktail on arrival, followed by a four-course meal, you'll have to keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for any clues and sketchy chat throughout the evening. Have you got what it takes to solve the mystery of Madame Clicquot? Just try and not get killed yourself...
