Hey, square-eyes! Are you looking forward to watching some ace TV in 2016?
Us too! Here’s:
The best TV to look out for in 2016
Ex On The Beach season 4
We are SO excited about the next series of Ex On The Beach we may do a little excitement sick.
heat’s already interviewed cast members for this series, including Geordie Shore’s Scotty T plus Megan McKenna and Jordan Davies from season 3, and can promise you that this looks like the most explosive and naughty series yet.
Bring on the tablet of terror!
Ex On The Beach begins on Tuesday 19 January on MTV.
The X Files
Do you still want to believe? We sure do. And our Mulder and Scully dreams have been answered as everyone’s favourite alien-hunting duo is back Back BACK with Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny reprising their roles.
The trailers we’ve seen so far are seriously cool, so we’re looking forward to hiding behind the sofa all over again when e.g. Edward Tooms comes slithering on screen again.
The series will air on Channel 5 in early 2016.
American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson
This tells the real life story of Kris Jenner’s first husband, Robert Kardashian, who was called as part of the team defending his friend, OJ Simpson, who was on trial for murdering his wife and Kris’ friend Nicole Brown Simpson.
What we’ve seen so far looks ace, and the cast includes John Travolta, David Schwimmer and Selma Blair.
The 10-part miniseries begins on 2 February 2016 on FX in America, and hopefully the UK won’t be too far behind.
Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon
Wow – this one looks insane. Joseph Fiennes is to play Michael Jackson in a mini-film about an actual road trip the King of Pop took with Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brandon following Jacko’s September 2011 concert at Madison Square Garden.
The unlikely trio made it to Ohio, reportedly stopping off at a number of KFCs and Burger Kings en route to sate Brando, before flying back to California. Blimey.
The dramtisation will broadcast on Sky Arts at a date TBC.
Doctor Foster series 2
The nation was gripped by the twisty tale of Doctor Foster, played by Suranne Jones, who discovered her husband was having an affair.
An incredible 10.1million of us tuned into the finale, and while we’re not quite sure where a second series can go, we’re excited to find out.
No date yet but set a Never Miss reminder or equivalent and you’re laughing. Maybe not literally.
Geordie Shore season 12
Still going strong after five incredible years, Geordie Shore returns with two rumoured new cast mates: Martin McKenna who’s said to be the reason Ricky Rayment broke off his engagement to Marnie Simpson, and Chantelle Connelly.
It will also see the first stirrings of rekindled romance between Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle, plus the return of Marnie Simpson – woo hoo!
Geordie Shore will air in March or April on MTV.
