London’s Leicester Square transformed from a tourist landmark into the centre of the Star Wars universe this evening as the stars of the latest film, The Force Awakens, walked the red carpet for the European premiere.
Everyone from the legend Mark Hamill (who plays Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (Han Solo) to newcomer Daisy Ridley (she plays the heroine Rey) and our favourite John Boyega (Finn) stopped to talk with us. And by the sounds of it, they had a lot of fun making the epic film.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is expected to smash all the box office records and has already made a staggering $100 million in ticket presales in the US alone.
The film hits UK cinemas tomorrow. We’ll see you in the very, very long queue.
