There was huge news in Geordie Shore land this week.

Charlotte Crosby and Gary Beadle admitted that they’re actually dating!

Sure, Charlotte did give Gary a semi-pie by telling him it was “casual” but we’ll take what we can get with those two.

And now Gary has spoken about the budding relationship and he seems actually quite chuffed about it.

“It’s going really well,” he admitted with a coy grin.

But why, in the five years Geordie Shore has been on our screens and those two have been banging, hasn’t it worked before?

“There’s a lot of pressure on me and Charlotte,” Gary said, before revealing that this time around they’re trying to do things that normally couples do.

“We don’t spend a lot of time together outside the Geordie Shore house.

“It was so weird, we had food the other day and there were no cameras there and I was nervous around her! It felt like a first date.”

But why did he split up with long-term girlfriend and worldie Lillie Lexie Gregg?

It seems that he had to choose between the show and Lillie. And he chose the show.

“I’ve seen Jay [Gardner] and James [Tindale], who have left because of girls. And I’m like ‘why would you leave because of a girl’?”

Because of LOVE, Gary. Because of love.

Newcastle’s premier #LAD went on: “So I decided to concentrate on me because being in a relationship [in the Geordie Shore house] was getting impossible.”
