What happens when you get a room full of hyped-up celebs, give them a selection of children's water-soluble paints and a blank canvas? In a word: chaos. Total and utter chaos.

And that's exactly what happened when heat went behind the scenes at blinkbox Music UK Live festival in Sunderland's Stadium of Light, where Jessie J, Jason Derulo and Rizzle Kicks were headlining along with The Saturdays, The Vamps and many, many more amazing acts.

So we managed to lure a few of the bands into heat's special area to get them to create one incredible mural. Did they manage it? Well… you're just going to have to watch the video.

The Union J boys - George Shelley, JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley and Josh Cuthbert - proved to be surprisingly creative, while new kid on the block Austin Mahone had a touch of artistic difficulty in starting his painting off.

But we literally couldn't stop the Neon Jungle girls - Amira McCarthy, Jess Plummer, Shereen Cutkelvin and Asami Zdrenka - from scribbling all over our blank canvas. Like, their people had to physically drag them out of the room and force them on stage, while the heat team stared at each other in shock and relief that we'd survived the onslaught of excitement and paint splatters.

See how the blinkbox Music UK Live line-up did in heat's marvellous mural in the video above. You can download the FREE blinkbox Music app now - click for more information.
