The UK’s equivalent of the Oscars are the EE British Academy Film Awards, aka the BAFTAs. That’s when movie stars from around the world flock to the ultra-swanky Royal Opera House in Covent Garden for a night of glitz, excitement and maybe a few tears.
And guess what? You and a friend can get in on the action at this ultra-glamorous event. You will walk the red carpet, attend the awards, and sit down for a private black-tie dinner after the gongs have been handed out. This year’s nominees are: Gugu Mbatha-Raw, star of period drama Belle; Jack O’Connell, the former Skins actor who had an amazing 2014 with Starred Up, ’71 and Unbroken; Margot Robbie, the Australian beauty from The Wolf Of Wall Street; Whiplash star Miles Teller; and Shailene Woodley, from* The Fault In Our Stars* and Divergent.
