The UK’s equivalent of the Oscars are the EE British Academy Film Awards, aka the BAFTAs. That’s when movie stars from around the world flock to the ultra-swanky Royal Opera House in Covent Garden for a night of glitz, excitement and maybe a few tears.

And guess what? You and a friend can get in on the action at this ultra-glamorous event. You will walk the red carpet, attend the awards, and sit down for a private black-tie dinner after the gongs have been handed out. You will also win a BAFTA goodie bag worth £500, and travel to London (up to £100) and one night’s hotel are included.

You can also vote for the EE Rising Star Award, which is the only award to be voted for by the public, at Past winners include Will Poulter, James McAvoy, Eva Green, Shia LaBeouf, Kristen Stewart and Tom Hardy.

This year’s nominees are: Gugu Mbatha-Raw, star of period drama Belle; Jack O’Connell, the former Skins actor who had an amazing 2014 with Starred Up, ’71 and Unbroken; Margot Robbie, the Australian beauty from The Wolf Of Wall Street; Whiplash star Miles Teller; and Shailene Woodley, from* The Fault In Our Stars* and Divergent.

The competition closes on 30 January But you can contnue to vote for the EE Rising Star until 6 February . You and your friend must be aged 18 or over, and available to attend the BAFTAs on Sunday 8 February.
