Blimey. The first trailer for American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson is here and it looks really good.
The one-minute clip features Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Sarah Poulson as Marcia Clark and John Travolta as defence lawyer Robert Shapiro, who became part of OJ’s defence team.
In real life, Kris and Robert were friends of OJ and his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, who was killed in her house in Brentwood, LA in 1994 alongside her friend Ronald Goldman.
In the trailer, an emotional Robert tells Kris: “He’s my friend. I don't turn my back on people.”
Kris responds, saying: “You’re turning your back on Nicole.”
he 10-part miniseries begins on 2 February 2016 on FX in America, and the first season will focus on the Simpson trial, which saw the former NFL star acquitted of murdering Nicole.
He was later found liable in the death of Nicole and Ron in a civil lawsuit brought by their families.
