What says support better than that?

When you dream of making it on X Factor, what perks of fame do you imagine? Performing to hundreds of screaming fans? Going on extravagant shopping trips? Never having to queue in the rain for a nightclub again in your life?

What about having a sausage created for you?

Yep, X Factor’s Ben Haenow has indeed been honoured with his very own signature meaty cylinder. A Beckenham butcher has created a sausagey campaign to raise support for Ben in the contest.

Ron Etheridge, who runs a traditional butchers shop near the singer’s hometown of Croydon, used a unique recipe for the star’s sausage that includes red chilli pepper, honey, garlic, coriander, sage and oregano.

Ron said: “The sausages are sweet and spicy, catering for many flavours like Ben’s singing!”

He added: “The sausages are very versatile like him. They have really got the X Factor!”

Whatever next? A wheel of cheese to honour Stevi Ritchie? A brand of potato smilies with Fleur East’s face on them? There possibilities are endless, and we sure like thinking about them.
