Proud owner of a sweet, sweet X Factor contract Louisa Johnson is set to become a multimillionaire over the next 12 months, simply by winning the talent show contest.
According to The Sun, the 17 year old will out-earn Leona Lewis – arguably the most successful X Factor winner to date – in her first year as a professional singer.
Just by winning the show she’ll automatically get a record deal with Syco, with an advance of £125,000, then by going on the* X Factor* live tour she’ll rake in another £100,000. Not too shabby.
Though if we were given hundreds of thousands of dollah aged 17, we’d probably have just gone and blown it all in Topshop…
Meanwhile, her winner’s single – a cover of Bob Dylan’s Forever Young – has already gone on sale, but she won’t make a penny off it as all the profits are being donated to charity.
Last night, after Louisa had been told she’d beaten Reggie ‘N’ Bollie to the X Factor title, she told the audience at Wembley Arena: “I’ve imagined this day for so many years and you really have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you so much.
“I really can’t put it into words. It doesn’t even feel real. It’s just amazing. It’s just crazy and I just appreciate everyone so much for keeping me here, I really do.”
She went on to thank her loyal supporters and said they’ve “obviously done an amazing job”.
