We're thrilled to absolute bits that Geordie Shore is finally back on our screens, but we have to admit it's confusing the actual f*ck out of us.

This is because, due to it being filmed earlier this summer, events took place some months ago.

(Notably before Marnie Simpson entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and fell in love with that ENORMOUS AND HAIRLESS PEEN attached to Lewis Bloor).

WANNA SEE THE PEEN? HERE YA GO

So events like Aaron Chalmers asking a besotted looking Marnie to be his girlfriend while dressed as a pirate on a party boat in Maga are just a bit weird to us (particularly because we just looooove Lew Lew and Marns).

But that's exactly what happens in tonight's Geordie Shore – and trust us, it's a good'un.

It all starts when Aaron pulls Marnie aside when they're all getting mortal on the boat. Marnie explains to the camera: "Me and Aaron argued again last night, I don’t know what he’s going to say but we need to move forward or leave it. This could be make or break."

Aaron then says to her: "When we’re good, we’re good but when we kick off, it’s f*cking shit" to which she replies: "What do you want?

"You should take things to the next level and you never do."

Aaron responds with: "Right, I’m going to ask you a question. Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

AND SHE AGREES AND RUNS OFF EXCITEDLY TO TELL THE GIRLS.

Aaron then says to the camera: "Who would have thought those words would come out my mouth? I’m shocked, but I’m f*cking buzzing."

We hate to break it to ya, Aaron, but you won't be buzzing for much longer.

Marn, Lew and the peen are all looking very loved up and happy together at the moment, and Marnie even opened up about their sex life the other day. Spoiler: it's fantastic.

Geordie Shore is on tonight at 10pm on MTV
