Make no mistake, as glamorous, beauteous and f*cking fabulous as Drag Race UK makes drag seem, behind the sequins, stage lights and sartorial slays, drag can be downright messy – in fact, at times, it can be disgusting (said in meme voice, obv), at least according to series six finalists Marmalade and Rileasa Slaves. And me.

We invited the final four queens, Marmalade, Rilseasa, La Voix and Kyran Thrax round to heat Towers just ahead of the grand finale to film an episode of our chaotic AF YouTube series, Drag Bags (queens like Bianca Del Rio, Kitty Scott Claus and Juno Birch have all filmed eps with us) and spill some tea on the latest series of Drag Race UK; which, let's be honest, as far as Drag Race series go, was peak.

Naturally, we had a million and one questions for these icons, and it didn't take long for the tea to start spilling – which is a real shame as we've just had a our studio carpet cleaned, but still, totally worth it.

As well spilling the tea on what they stole from the Werk Room (they are all of us), the queens opened up about a couple of rather grim scenes that didn't make the edit – and both incidences involve fellow finalist Kyran Thrax and body fluids.

Not these queens spilling vicious – and graphic af – tea right in front of each other...

Marmalade began reminiscing over a particularly gross encounter backstage involving Kyran and Actavia – and spit.

She revealed, 'It was after a runway, Kyran and Actavia were wrestling, wrestling on the floor, but joking – and I went to get involved then Kyran got on top and I sh*t you not, let out the biggest bit of spit directly on to Actavia's face, directly between the eyes. And I went, "I'm actually not going to get involved in this."'

Drag is not a contact sport, queens.

And let us tell you, Rileasa is all of us with this response... she said, 'I feel so f*cking queasy.'

Marmalade added, 'Actavia was lying on the floor like, "What?"

To which Rileasa replied, 'It is on brand.'

'I think it might be on camera', added Marmalade.

'Where's that clip? Thank you, BBC. Here we go, gorgeous', joked Rileasa. Again, she is all of us.

And just when we thought the yuckiness had ceased, Rileasa added, 'I was gagging over the episode where [Kyran Thrax] takes off her latex outfit.'

To which Marmalade replied, 'She was soaking wet.'

Disgusting, but factual – layers and layers of drag garments PLUS studio lighting? Give all these girls an extra RuPaul badge right the f*ck now.
