It's fair to say that camp has been a slightly-less-fun place since Martin and Danny arrived – those two have barely stopped bickering and crying since they walked in.
But after Martin promised to make more of an effort and pull his weight, the odd couple made up and peace once again reigned, prompting Larry to observe, "They’re like an old married couple – a ruck in the evening and in the morning, having a leg over.”
This meant we could get back to the serious business of putting an unsuspecting celeb through some serious jungle hell with another grisly Bushtucker Trial.
Adam - or as we now only call him, FITLORD Adam Thomas – stepped up to the plate tonight and took on the frankly retch-inducing Bushtucker Food Factory.
Plucky Adam was well up for it before he saw what he was up against, pledging, "I’m going to man up on this one. I’m not going to scream. I’m not going to cry. I’m going to be a man."
And despite producing noises we have NEVER heard coming from a human mouth before, man he was, as he was forced to plunge parts of himself into rancid water, fish guts, offal and pig lard, even facing his biggest fear – spiders – to bring home a brilliant 11 out of 12 stars. Ant and Dec were typically sympathetic... we think one of them might even have wet themselves a bit.
Jubilant Adam came out smiling, saying, “You got me good boys. Them spiders. You knew what you’re doing there. I think I did alright. As well as I could have done," he told Ant and Dec.
Nice one, Adam. But we think it's definitely time you took off those dirty clothes and jumped in the waterfall... Just thinking of you, mate.
