Is Alesha Dixon quitting Britain’s Got Talent to return to Strictly Come Dancing?

We’re finding it tough to keep up with all the rumours about who’s coming and going from the X Factor judging panel.

So spare a thought for poor old Simon Cowell who has to try and get some new celebs on board as a panellist from his other show, Britain’s Got Talent, could be about to jump ship.

Alesha Dixon says she’d like to return to Strictly Come Dancing despite quitting her role as a judge on the show in 2012 in favour of BGT.

The former Mis-Teeq star was on the panel for three years after winning the series as a contestant in 2007.

But luckily for Simon, the singer is only thinking about doing a one-off charity special for the ballroom dance contest.

She told the Daily Star Sunday: “I’d love to put on my dancing shoes. It was a fantastic part of my life – I still watch it and I love the show.

“That was the beginning of a new chapter for me so I always root for Strictly.”

She added: “It’s been a while since I left and my life has moved on but there’s no way I’d ever rule out going back.”

Alesha’s boss Simon may not be happy to hear her comments as Strictly regularly beats X Factor in the TV ratings war.

And if she doesn’t return to Strictly, Alesha could be off to the US to try her hand at television presenting.

She said: “I’d love to host a show in America. Presenting out there appeals to me more than it does here.

“It’s a completely different world. I like the idea of working there and challenging myself.”
