Last night on Love Island Amber Davies was filmed getting, um, close and personal, with Kem Cetinay, and her actual mum was watching it.

Yes, you read that right, and yes this is every single persons's worst nightmare - but Amber's mum was surprisingly cool about it.

Speaking to the Daily Post, the Welsh 20 year old's mother said about the event:

"She's an adult. I didn't have to watch it. Nothing was shown, it was left to the imagination."

We're pretty sure our mums would never be this cool.

Amber's mum Susan coped with the moment by closing her eyes until it was over.

Poor Amber's mum :(

About whether Amber's dad saw the moment Susan said:

"I was downstairs watching it and my husband had gone to bed so I'm not sure how he feels about it yet."

Fingers crossed he never finds out, tbh.

The event took place in the communal bedroom and was screened to thousands of Love Island fans around the UK.

Finally about the event Amber's mum said:

"Obviously it's not something you want to watch your daughter doing but at the end of the day it's what the show is about."

What the show is about indeed. Amber and Kem are not the only ones to have been captured getting steamy on screen.

The programme is notorious for naughty night time antics and co stars Jess Shears and Dom Lever got up to very similar antic in the same night.
