Marvel and Sony Pictures have announced that Spider-Man will finally join the Marvel cinematic universe after years of speculation, however, it'll be a new Spidey replacing Andrew Garfield.
The rights to* Spider-Man* are currently owned by Sony and they have agreed for a new Spider-Man (not Andrew Garfield) to debut in a Marvel film, then the next stand-alone Spider-Man film will be released on 28 July 2017.

The two companies are also working together to see if they can incorporate other characters from Marvel - think Iron Man, Thor and The Hulk - into future Spider-Man films.
Thirty-one-year-old, Andrew and his film The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was panned following its release and there's been much speculation that the character could receive yet another reboot.
Bob Iger, Chairman and CEO, The Walt Disney Company said: "Spider-Man is one of Marvel's great characters, beloved around the world. We're thrilled to work with Sony Pictures to bring the iconic web-slinger into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which opens up fantastic new opportunities for storytelling and franchise building.

So there's a chance that one day, Spider-Man could end up in The Avengers. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!
