We’ve got just under two months to wait for our next instalment of drink-fuelled shagging, bar-stool brawling and arguments pitched at a frequency only dogs can hear, but there’s sadness in the hearts of Geordie Shore fans today, because one of the main cast is quitting.
James Tindale is expected to announce his decision to leave in one of the first few episodes of the new series.

But it’s not all bad news – two brand new castmembers will join the show to replace James and his ex-co-star Vicky Pattison, who quit the programme last year to focus on other things.
One of the newbies is Chloe Etherington, 19 – who’s already done things to, on and around Scotty T, and may well be flinging herself right into a love triangle during the series. She describes herself as a “a bit like an octopus on acid", so we bet she’ll get on well with Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan. Oh, and she figure-skates.
The other new castmate is 23-year-old Nathan Henry, who is bi and goes “70/30” towards men – plus he’s already got his sights set on Aaron Chalmers. He says his ex-boyfriend broke his heart and “turned me into a slag”, so that’s nice.
No word yet on what James will be doing post-Shore, but we’re going to make an educated guess and bet it’s something to do with mainlining protein shakes and shilling his clothing line on Twitter.
