**Britain's Got Talent **hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly might be award winning TV presenters, but they probably didn't think they would have to put out a fire when they were filming the talent show over the weekend.

According to reports the pair were filming for the new series of** Britain's Got Talent **at the London Palladium, when a Greek entertainer called Bambas took to the stage. Hoping to impress the panel of judges, unfortunately for Bambas his routine didn't go quite to plan and he ended up setting fire to the stage!

Bambas' routine involved smashing plates, and balancing a glass full of flames on his head! However, according to reports Bambas dropped the glass which set fire to the stage. But luckily Ant and Dec were on hand and ran onto the stage with some water to put out the fire.

This wasn't the only commotion during Bambas' performance as he started to smash plates on the stage, some of the judges apparently joined in too! An insider told The Mirror, "We are used to all sorts happening on the show, but this really was the most crazy audition we have ever seen.

"The mess took ages to clear up," they continued.

Viewers can expect to see this incident when **Britain's Got Talent **returns to the TV in April this year.
