It's not unusual for actors to fall in love with their co-stars, you just have to look at the likes of Charley Webb and Matthew Wolfenden, Alan Halsall and Lucy Jo Hudson and Hollyoaks stars Nadine Rose Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed. It has now been revealed that Benidorm actor Adam Gillen and Laila Zaidi are also dating in real life.
Adam and Laila, who play the roles of Liam and Cyd in the hit ITV comedy, have been dating for a while and recently posted loved up photos to their social media accounts after they enjoyed a romantic holiday to Mauritius.
Sharing a photo of the couple enjoying the sun, Laila joked about the couple's sun tans writing, 'Day 3 and I'd say our tans are pretty even 🍹☀️ #gingerbaeproblems #mauritius 🌅'. [sic]
After discovering they were dating, fans of the pair have been quick to comment on the photo expressing how good they look together.
One user wrote, 'Gorgeous couple ♥️😍🌸🥂', with another adding, 'Well cute guys'. Another later added, 'Actually LOVE this pic!!!! ❤️'.
Despite previously appearing in Doctors, Laila's first major acting role comes as she joined the cast of **Benidorm **for the tenth series.
Laila made her first appearance on the show last week, playing the role of Rob Dawson's girlfriend and her character has certainly been involved in a lot of drama since her debut. On last night's show (Wednesday 14th March), Rob proposed to Cyd in front of everybody, but as Cyd stumbled in her response, he ran off.
