Some movies are so great you just have to revisit them...some leave so many questions unanswered they demand a sequel...and some just need a freshening up for a new age.

With so many films getting reboots and part twos we decided to round up a list of the ones we CANNOT WAIT to see hit the big screen.

Check it out below...

Beetlejuice sequel

Director Tim Burton has confirmed the sequel to the 1988 comedy is officially happening - with both Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton signing on. Tim said of Keaton's return: “There’s only one Beetlejuice.” (Michael Keaton who played it last time)

It sounds like Burton has it all under control: “We have the script in hand everything is in place all we need to do now is get ready to start filming,” he said.

Producer/screenwriter Grahame-Smith confirmed the film is a sequel, not a reboot and will be set in the present day.

Ghostbusters remake

Who you gonna call? Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones this time round! Bridesmaid director Paul Feig is directing the four leading ladies in this reboot of the 1984 classic.

The film will see Wiig and McCarthy as two authors who unite ith a nucleur enginner and a savvy subway worker to save the world from a powerful demon who can control other human forms. Original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroy and Sigourney Weaver will all be making camo appearances AND Chris Hemsworth is playing the ladies' HAWT receptionist...what's not to love?!

Ghosbusters will be released on July 15th.

Tomb Raider remake

Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley is one of the actresses being considered for the legendary part of Lara Croft in the upcoming remake.

Warner Bros and MGM are partnering on a new film version of the classic video game but there have been no official negotiations yet regarding casting

The role of the adventurous archeologist was famously played by Angelina Jolie in the 2001 film and 2003 sequel.

Baywatch film

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron are uniting to save the fictitious Californian Bay in a film version of the 90s TV show.

The pair followed an intense training programme and strict diet to reach the fitness level needed for the movie and it’s clear to see their efforts have paid off.

Directed by Seth Gordan, the plot will centre around two lifeguards vying for the same job.

Hasselhoff (the original head lifeguard before The Rock took over the role) will be making a cameo in the film. Pamela Anderson, however, won’t be stating “no one appreciates the remakes.” We do Pam!

The Baywatch film is due to be released in Summer 2017.

New Batman

Some fans were shocked when Ben Affleck was confirmed to be taking over from Christian Bale to play Batman but it looks like the actor has really made the role his own.

As well as starring the upcoming Batman vs Superman oppostie Henry Cavill, Affleck has confirmed he will get his very own Batman stand-alone film.

Director Zack Snyder said the Batman from previous films wouldn’t be right for the new story, as it’s a total and opposite reality from the Chris Nolan movies. He said “It’s another universe so we couldn’t hire Christian Bale if we wanted to, because he doesn’t exist in our world”.

Batman vs Superman will be released on March 25th.

Live-action Beauty and the Beast

Emma Watson is fulfilling all our childhood dreams by starring as Belle in the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast.

Joining the Harry Potter actress in the re-do of the 1991 Disney classic is Luke Evans as Gaston, Dan Stevens as the Beast and Ian McKellen as Cogsworth.
