We're only two episodes into the Breaking Bad spin-off - Better Call Saul - and there's already rumblings that BB's dynamic duo, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, could make an appearance in the second season of the show.
Let's face it, despite all the cool references and cameos we've already seen in Better Call Saul, there's only one pair of screwed up drug-pushers we want the show's creator Vince Gilligan to put on our screens again.
Speaking to The Independent, Bob Odenkirk, who plays Saul said: “I’m sceptical of Vince’s denials.
“He does know where he’s going to use those guys or have them appear. He just doesn’t want to say it yet.”
READ THIS LOT:
Although, if Jessie Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and Walter White (Bryan Cranston) did rear their bald heads, they'd be fairly different characters to what we remember. As Better Call Saul is set seven years before the events of Breaking Bad, Jessie would probably still be in school, maybe being taught science (bitch) by Walter White.
Perhaps this way we'd get to see a different side to Walter, where he's still just an innocent science teacher, who loves his family and doesn't blow people up or scream "I AM THE DANGER!" at people.
Bob added that he feels Vince is keen for BCS to "do the hard work of living and dying on its own terms” and see how the first season performs.
“I think it can happen in Season 2. And, if you ask me, Bob Odenkirk, taking a wild guess – remember I’m not a writer on the show- I think one of those guys will appear in Season 2 or 3. But probably later.”
The first episode of Better Call Saul pulled in 6.9 million viewers during its premiere on Sunday. New episodes are released each Tuesday, with the first two available on Netflix.
