There have already been talks of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! being filmed in the UK instead of Australia this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, along with Love Island which is normally filmed in Mallorca.

But that hasn't stopped the casting rumours flying in already - despite the fact that it normally airs in late November each year!

With names like Piers Morgan, Phillip Schofield and Richard Madeley all being thrown into the ring early on, it's no surprise that we've also seen some popular soap faces in talks for the show - Lucy Fallon, who recently left Corrie after playing Bethany Platt, and Jasmine Armfield, who recently left EastEnders after playing Bex Fowler.

And now, Beverley Callard aka the leopard print-loving legend Liz McDonald is reportedly set to head to the jungle; with a TV source telling the Mirror that she's already 'signed up' for the show, having announced she's leaving Corrie in November last year.

They told the publication, "Everyone was thrilled when Bev said yes, she is such a well-loved ITV face."

Beverley has been on the soap on and off since 1989, but made the decision last year to quit the soap and explore new opportunities, with Liz's exit due to air later this year.

Announcing her decision to leave the soap in November 2019, Beverley told OK! magazine, "I was in shock, I felt totally numb," adding that she'd had "so many sleepless nights" over the decision to call it quits, but knew it was the right thing to do.

Of her exit, show boss Iain McLeod told Metro.co.uk, "It’s still in the planning stages but a lot about of what Bev said in her interview about she’s going out with a bang and we’re certainly not killing her off, all of that is true. But in terms of the detail of it, TBC, but it will be some heroic effort to save Steve from the nightmare in which he finds himself."
