FIRST LOOK: Take a look at the LAST EVER Big Brother house

Ahead of the last ever series of Big Brother, photos of the new house have been revealed and it looks VERY interesting! Channel 5 have explained how this year’s house is designed to bring Big Brother back to its roots as a social experiment. The house is designed to remind the housemates that they are in a game, this means it includes maze artwork, intriguing design features, and a gaming table!

The new Big Brother house has been designed to evoke a feeling of living in a house that is run by an unseen power or organisation and has propaganda-inspired messaging throughout!

The release of these first look photos comes just a few hours after Channel 5 confirmed that this would be the final series of Big Brother. In a statement, the production company Endemol Shine UK said, 'We are incredibly proud of Big Brother which has consistently been the highest rated show for Channel 5 over the past seven years, with the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother being the channel’s highest rating show of the year, growing its’ audience year on year by 17% and tripling the channel’s slot average for 16-14s.

'This performance is credit to the fantastic production team, plus Emma, Rylan, Marcus and the many housemates over the years who have delivered so many unmissable series.'

Channel 5 then followed up the statement with tweets saying, 'The forthcoming series of Big Brother will be the last - of either celebrity or civilian versions - on Channel 5. We’d like to thank Endemol and all of the production team who have worked tirelessly to make the show a success.'

The final ever Big Brother starts tonight at 9pm on Channel 5.

Last Monday Ryan Thomas was crowned winner of this year's Celebrity Big Brother.
