It only seems like it was two seconds ago that Big Brother housemate Ellie Young was eyeing-up fellow resident Lotan Carter.
But after cocky Lotan was ceremoniously given a giant boot from the famous television compound for his bad behaviour, Ellie has wasted no time on setting her sights on someone who seems to be a far more suitable chap.
Things have been heating up between former Ibiza Weekender star Ellie and BB newbie Sam Chaloner, who only moved into the house this week.
Sam previously failed to make it onto the Channel 5 show when he was ditched over currently housemate Isabelle Warburton and recent evictee Savannah O’Reilly in a previous task but he’s now a fully fledged housemate and has been getting on rather well with bubble Ellie.
And things got pretty interesting for viewers during Saturday night’s episode when they saw him and Ellie share a quick kiss.
The pair were sat together on the kitchen floor having a chat as Sam explained his reasons for coming into the house, with him insisting: “I’ve not come in here for you.”
A wary Ellie replied: “You know how many people have said I’ve been f-@ked around by Lotan.”
Ellie appeared to be referring to the fact her fellow housemates had warned her off Lotan, who flirted with her but wanted nothing more, before he was disgraced and removed from the house due to arrogant attitude and violent behaviour.
But Sam insisted he was nothing like Lotan, telling her: “I am not going to mess you around. I’m not that type of person, honest.”
He then went in to kiss Ellie on the lips, with the blonde beauty returning the snog.
However, Sam asked Ellie to keep the kiss a secret as their fellow housemates had already expressed concerns he may use a romance with her to further himself in the house.
Is this the real deal? Only time will tell. Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm.
