Another year, another prestigious BRIT Awards ceremony is upon us.
And while our homegrown homage to music might not have quite the opulence of the Oscars or the nous of the Nobel Prize, the BRITs has grit and glamour in equal measure and it's the jewel in the grown of Awards Season, tbh.
Last year saw the Critics Choice go to the INCREDIBLE Sam Fender, and George Ezra, Jorja Smith and Tom Walker all bringing home gongs.
And who could forget that FRANKLY ICONIQUE performance by Outstanding Contribution winner, Pink?
BUT ENOUGH ABOUT LAST YEAR. We've got a shiny new line up for 2020 and we can't wait for kick off.
When are The BRIT Awards 2020?

Who's presenting the BRIT Awards 2020?
The BRIT Awards 2020 will be hosted by none other than Jack Whitehall, who's landed the gig for a third year in a row after his hugely successful (/savage) performances in 2018 and 2019.
Many viewers called Jack the "best host in years", thanks to his brilliant wit and hilarious sarcasm. He made the most of 2018's meme 'Man's Not Hot' by Big Shaq, and also made sure to make jokes about Simon Cowell, Cheryl and Liam Payne, and Little Mix's Jesy Nelson during the ceremony.
Speaking about landing the role again, Jack said, "I'm delighted to be back hosting the BRITs for a third time!
“Hugely excited for another night of trying not to put my foot in it in front of the biggest names in the music industry.”
Who's nominated for a BRIT Award 2020?
The BRIT Awards are world famous for honouring some of the biggest names in British music and beyond, and this year is no exception, with Harry Styles, Stormzy, Mahalia and Bring Me The Horizon all up for awards.
From across the pond, Billie Eilish, Bruce Springsteen, Lana Del Ray and Tyler, the Creator are all up for International Artist awards. Lewis Capaldi's Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent is up for Best Album, and Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran are hoping to take home the award for best song for I Don't Care.

After a shortlist of nominees were revealed for the BRIT Awards Critics' Choice in November 2018, it was North Shields born singer Sam Fender who was crowned the winner.
Speaking about winning the award, he said, "I am truly humbled to win the BRITs Critics’ Choice award. Being nominated was crazy enough, never mind winning it. I’m so grateful to everyone back home for believing, and to my band and team for all their hard work. We've played literally hundreds of shows this year, and we're going to go even harder in 2019.
"Most importantly, a big shout to my fans. I've met a lot of you over the last few years and it’s truly an honour to get up and play night after night to such a wonderful bunch of people. To everyone who’s taken a punt on me so far, thank you. Here's to next year!"
