Not only did Dave win Best Album at the Brit Awards 2020 last night but his brutally honest speech following his performance has gotten everyone talking.
Dave performed his song Black while playing the piano (obsessed), before handing the keys over the a pianist to get up and really give his all in the final part of the song.
He called out the tabloid media's treatment of Meghan Markle, branded Boris Johnson a "racist" and paid tribute to Jack Merritt who died in a terror attack last year.
He rapped, "It is racist, whether or not it feels racist / The truth is our Prime Minister is a real racist. They say you should be grateful we’re the least racist, I say the least racist is still racist.
"And if somebody hasn’t said it / Equality is a right, it doesn’t deserve credit / If you don’t wanna get it, then you’re never gonna get it / How the news treats Kate versus how they’re treating Meghan."
He then went on to show photos of Saskia Jones and Jack Merritt - who died following a terror attack in 2019 - and thanked the latter who "devoted his life to giving others a chance".
Dave then followed in the footsteps of Stormzy who, in 2018, called out Theresa May during his performance and asked "Yo, Theresa May, where's the money for Grenfell?"
Last night, Dave rapped, "Grenfell victims still need accommodation / And we still need support for the Windrush generation / Reparations for the time our people spent on plantations."
Viewers rushed to praise him for his "powerful" lyrics with one person writing, "Dave just called out the PM for being racist, blasted the press for Meghan Markle's treatment, paid tribute to Jack Merritt and reminded us that Grenfell victims are still suffering. All in under a minute. Iconic. #Brits2020".
Someone else wrote, "Dave really came to shake tables...calling out the Prime Minister for being racist, shouting out Grenfell, shedding light on Windrush, the media’s treatment of Kate v Meghan and so much more. Love to see it #Brits2020".
