What an exciting weekend of telly we have ahead of us, eh? On Saturday night Gevanni Hutton, Jonny Brooks, Brooke Scullion and Blessing Chitapa will go head-to-head hoping to be crowned winner of The Voice UK 2020; and it sounds like we've got a right treat in store.

Following her incredible performance of Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus banger Nothing Breaks Like a Heart last weekend, we caught up with Derry-born Brooke as she prepares to battle it out in the final with coach Meghan Trainor.

Teasing some 'surprises' ahead of the show, Brooke reckons she wants to do her idols 'proud' as she takes on some of her favourite artists' tracks.

Chatting to heat, Brooke said, "I can’t say what I’m performing, but I think people are going to love what we have planned.

"There’s a few surprises and the songs are from big icons of mine so I’m going to give it my all to do them proud whilst putting my own spin on them.

"I'm delighted to be in the final. To be honest, after months of not being able to perform, I’m loving every second of it; even the dress rehearsals. To be able to take it to the big stage is a bonus."

Can't bloody wait, mate.

Opening up about her relationship with coach Meghan, Brooke gushed, "I love Meghan, she's so genuine and really cares about her acts.

"The best thing she ever told me is that ‘I’m the one, one in a million not one out of a million.’ And to not be so hard on myself, because I have to remember that my worst day is most people’s best day. She’s a really positive person to be around which is really uplifting."

What'll be the first thing Brooke does if she wins, then?

"Open a big bottle of Prosecco," she told us. "I'll allow myself one day to be hungover then get to work on new music."

Brooke, babes - WE RELATE. Though we're kinda of that age where the two-day hangovers are becoming the standard. Sad, but true.

Anyhoo, make sure you're cheering Brooke on as you watch The Voice UK final at 8.40pm on Saturday 14th November on ITV. Also, be sure to check out her rather-bloody-brilliant track attention on Soundcloud, Spotify or Apple Music.
