So, last night on Love Island, Camilla Thurlow got seriously upset after the lie detector challenge suggested she wasn't telling the truth about her compatibility with Island-bae Jamie Jewitt, and we basically burst into tears alongside her.
And to make matters worse, it sounds like we can’t just put it down to a faulty machine. Ex-Islander Jon Clark even suggested the lie detector was the same one they use on The Jeremy Kyle Show. Eeeek. You can read more about that here.
Speaking in the Beach Hut about failing the challenge, Camilla said: "The sad fact is I know exactly why I and Jamie are not compatible, and it’s because I don’t think I'm good enough for him.”
SOB!!!
Now we don't know about you, but we felt super sorry for Cam when we heard her reasoning. We mean, we’re not sure we’d ever feel compatible with a Calvin Klein model if we were dating them, either… no matter how many times he tried to convince us otherwise.
And it seems like Love Island viewers agree with us.
One Twitter user wrote, “sooo emotional watching Camilla last night, cos how she was feeling was 1000% relatable,” while another added, “I’ll always be a Camilla fan. I know exactly how she feels”.
Yup, Camilla’s insecurities gave the internet SO MANY FEELS.
But luckily, Jamie was quick to dry her tears and literally shower her with complements, despite the fact she failed the test.
Maybe we'll get a man like that one day, eh guys?
