There’s been a lot of uncertainty surrounding the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

After show host Ant McPartlin was admitted to rehab for his prescription drug addiction this summer, there were lots of discussions over his involvement in the news series. Lots of rumours were flying around as to who’d fill in as his replacement and join Dec Donnelly in the jungle, if Ant was not well enough to film.

However, after spending two months in the treatment facility, Ant returned home in August and ITV bosses pretty much confirmed he’d be back Down Under to host the reality show with his BFF.

Recently, though, it’s been reported that filming for the 2017 series has been pushed back as Ant continues his recovery in Los Angeles. And now there’s talk Caroline Flack may be taking his place as co-presenter.

“Usually, Z-list celebrities are scrambling to appear on I’m A Celebrity as contestants – but now it seems like a top job might be available,” a PaddyPower spokesperson told the Daily Star.

“Her experience on Love Island should serve her well for going Down Under.”

Producers reportedly postponed filming for a big budget promotional shoot at Pinewood Studios in London, as Ant has flown off to LA to continue his recovery post-rehab.

“It would have been the first day filming but with Ant away, there is no way they could get started," a source told The Sun.

Ant spent two months in rehab over summer getting treatment for his prescription drug addiction and 'substance abuse'.

He's now taking time out in LA with his agent Paul Worsley.

“Ant needed some space away," a source explained.

"Everyone completely understands.”
