CBB’s Beth Chapman kicks off at the GOVERNMENT over not being allowed on the show

Beth Chapman, aka Mrs Dog The Bounty Hunter, was supposed to be part of last night's Celebrity Big Brother line-up, but she was forced to pull out just hours beforehand, leaving what can only be described as a human Labrador in a Hawaiian shirt (just who tf is Heavy D?) as her replacement.

But why wasn't she allowed to join the rest of the stars in the Big Brother house? There were lots of theories flying around, including an allegation that her criminal record prevented her from entering the country.

Well now Mrs Dog has taken to Twitter to clear up the rumours – and it turns out it's all thanks to the government.

THANKS, THE GOVERNMENT.

As word spread that she wouldn't be joining the line-up, Beth started tweeting her disappointed followers.

She confirmed that it wasn't a criminal record holding her back from getting into the country as she has no current convictions.

Even she didn't know what was going on with her visa:

But she really wants to come to the UK, guys.

One follower had a bright idea:

Because that's definitely how the Border Agency works.

(Yes, there's already a petition to get Beth a visa)

Then it emerged that Beth has been arrested a number of times, even though she's got zero convictions.

But she's not upset with CBB itself:

N'aww, look at her all packed and ready to go :((((((

The official Dog Team account laid the blame squarely at the feet of the government, because that's the correct thing to do in these exact circumstances.

Sheesh. First Brexit, now this? Sort it out, Theresa May.
