Another year, another scandalous series of Celebrity Big Brother.
Has there ever been a dull series? NAH.
There have been some outrageous sex bits (Stephen Bear and Chloe Khan sexy shower times last year, anyone?), some explosive fights (Speidi vs Rylan Clark-Neal = reality TV gold) and VERY controversial comments (ahem, looking at you Christopher Biggins).
And this year is no different.
This series is only two days old and it has already been accused of bullying contestants, Ray J has been shading Kanye West and Katie Price is rumoured to be going into the house on Friday.
We’re going to be emotional wrecks by the time this is all over in a few weeks.
But now viewers are accusing Stacy Francis of being ‘homophobic’ following her comments about Austin Armacost on last night’s episode.
We finally got to see what the housemates did on launch night, and witnessed the usual scramble into the bedroom for the best beds once the doors were open.
After moaning that she didn’t want to sleep in a bed near Heidi Pratt, Stacy went into the garden where she was joined by James Jordan, Coleen Nolan and James Cosmo.
The four housemates discussed who would be bunking together, as Ray J – the poor little lamb – was so exhausted that he’d fallen asleep on the sofa and missed the whole thing.
Talking about whether Ray J would be sharing a bed with Austin, Stacy said: “But he would sleep with a gay boy? He won't sleep with the boy that wants him ... the gay boy,”
After a painfully awkward silence, Stacy claimed that she was making a joke, to which James Jordan replied: “Sorry, you’re American, I didn’t understand your humour.”
Mmm.
Stacy’s comment did not go down well with viewers, who have accused the former X Factor contestant of being ‘homophobic’.
A Spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother told heatworld: "As part of standard procedures, Big Brother often reminds housemates that language in the house can raise concerns and this was discussed with Stacy."
