Every since Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor got together within about two minutes of entering the Celebrity Big Brother house, pretty much everyone in the world (ourselves included, NGL) was quick to label their relationship as a showmance.
We were still less convinced by its validity after Lewis’ SHOCKING claim earlier this week that he wasn’t sure about the romance.
Lewis was in the bathroom talking to best buddy Stephen Bear, saying: "She is amazing but I have so much I want to do! Falling in love with someone isn’t on my radar; I have work to do.”
We were torturing ourselves with questions like “WHY WERE YOU HAVING, IN MARNIE’S WORDS, “THE MOST ROMANTIC SHOWER [of her] LIFE” AND WAVING YOUR ENORMOUS AND HAIRLESS DICK AT HER, THEN, LEWIS?
And more importantly – what on earth is this work you have to do?
They then had a bit of a row involving one of Lewis’ model exes on a packet of eyelashes and slept in separate beds.
But in last night’s episode, it looked like the two were genuinely making things up in the garden.
Lewis said: “I was very worried last night I was gonna lose someone special like that. You happen to be beautiful as well.”
N’aww.
Marnie replied: “I dunno it’s strange because if I happen to be close to boys on the outside I walk away from them – I don’t let any men get close to me ever.”
Lewis said: “I know babe and I felt like a fool. I felt so stupid for letting myself get so wrapped up.”
Then the two got seriously CUTE.
Marns said: “I felt like my guard was coming down and I was getting real feelings and that’s what frightened us.”
Lew Lew replied with: “For me this is perfect. You’ve made me feel like for the first time in two years I can look at myself in the mirror and call myself a good man.”
Err… Looks like we may be imminently eating our words about the whole showmance thing…
If this is an act, they should 100% leave their prospective reality careers and head for Hollywood immediately.
