Though we may be sad, crying, still slightly hungover messes trying to remember how to use a computer at work after Christmas and New Year break, we’re SO EXCITED for the Celebrity Big BrotherCelebrity Big Brother* *launch tonight.
The all-female line-up, which is in celebration of 100 years of female suffrage, which will feature the likes of Jess Impiazzi and Malika Haqq, and we’re absolutely over the mood it’s about to be back in our lives once again.
However, we’re in for a huge shocker when we tune in tonight – as one of its key and fundamental elements is going to be missing.
MARCUS BENTLEY THE GEORDIE VOICEOVER GUY WON’T BE PART OF IT.
Marcus has provided the voiceover for the show since its inception in 2000, and we cannot begin to imagine what it’ll be like without him.
He wrote on Twitter: “This will the first #CBB launch I’ve watched from home! Can’t wait. 9pm Channel 5. #CBB”
The reason for his absence is the all-female casting, and he confirmed his absence is just a one-off for the launch – and will be coming back in subsequent episodes.
Celebrity Big Brother kicks off tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.
